Tissot Alpine On Board

Quartz-powered or mechanical, the Alpine On Board is a dualuse watch: you can wear it on your wrist or place it on the dashboard of your Alpine car in a special holder attached to the car’s multimedia screen. A niche product? Certainly, but also one way of showing that watchmaking has its own ways of combining instruments and design. The automatic chronograph model is equipped with a beautiful Valjoux movement and sports a vintage, but not nostalgic, look. The three-hand quartz model is more contemporary in style and is very legible once inserted into the dashboard support.
