A subjective visual selection of 10 watches that impressed me at this year’s SIHH. And the reason why.

CARTIER RÉVÉLATION D’UNE PANTHÈRE

For the pure magic that travels through this watch, conceived by Cartier as a a sand clock with the golden balls forming the figure of the panther in a blink of an eye, then disappearing in a formidable twist.

IWC TRIBUTE TO PALLWEBER EDITION “150 YEARS”

For its elegant jumping numeral display, like the historic Pallweber pocket watches, and for standing out in the classical lines and dials of the IWC timepieces.

AUDEMARS PIGUET ROYAL OAK OFFSHORE TOURBILLON CHRONOGRAPH

For its chunky radical larger-than-life reinterpretation of what was already a chunky radical larger-than-life timepiece when launched one generation ago at Audemars Piguet.
