1. MANERO AUTODATE LOVE by Carl F. Bucherer
Born of a collaboration with Li Bingbing, a Chinese actress and international ambassador of Carl F. Bucherer, the Manero AutoDate Love (from the name of her charitable foundation, L.O.V.E.), comes in nine different variations featuring strong colours including red lacquer incrusted with gold dust, petrol blue, and white mother-of-pearl. Cases come in rose gold with a gem-studded bezel, rose gold and steel, or all steel.
The automatic calibre CFB 1971 with a power reserve of 42 hours displays the hours and minutes, with the small seconds at 6 o’clock and the date at 3 o’clock.
2. THE LONGINES 1832 COLLECTION by Longines
Simplicity and elegance: the formula applies to both men’s and women’s models produced by the Saint-Imier brand. It is paired with an acute sense of heritage and an extensive use of archives: the models in this collection pay tribute to the year the brand was founded. Longines can also count on the group’s industrial resources to produce high-performance ladies’ models: calibre L592 (ETA A20.L01), date at 3 o’clock, beige mother-of-pearl dial, 12 diamond hour markers.
3. LIMELIGHT GALA by Piaget
Inspired by the famous model launched in 1973, the Limelight Gala has retained the original’s sensual curves and hip-swinging asymmetry, which haven’t aged a day in nearly 50 years. This year, Piaget is presenting a series of timepieces “in motion”, as their shape suggests, that pay tribute to their ancestor with gold, colour and light.
Gold is celebrated by a model whose curves are emphasised by 20 diamonds and 22 sapphires. Tribute is paid to light with a model in pink gold, its asymmetrically elongated bezel and lugs studded with diamonds around a mother-of-pearl dial.
As for colour, it is that of the night sky, rendered by models with an aventurine glass dial of the profoundest blue and illuminated by a diamondstudded bezel and lugs.
But the colours literally explode in a luxury jewellery version, whose bracelet is made up of blue, yellow and orange sapphires, and rubies, wrapped around a black opal dial.
4. STELLA S by Muse Watches
Muse Watches, a Swiss start-up launched in 2017, aims to offer a different experience of time thanks to a dial in continuous motion, which rotates unceasingly before the eyes. Various geometric forms are available: each model was inspired by a geometric form from art, architecture or nature. The lotus flower was the great inspiration behind the Stella S: the intersecting geometries are reminiscent of a flower opening. The watches are equipped with the self-winding movement MU01. Muse enables everyone to create their own mobile art object by choosing the stone of the dial, the colour of the case and custom engraving.
