Audemars Piguet «La Rivière» BASEL 94
The company’s goldsmiths and chain makers have long been reputed for the unique way of working gold into silken suppleness just as its gem jewellers have invariably managed to select some of the finest gemstones seen anywhere. A case in point is the breathtaking splendour of its “Rivière” design. The visible side of its bracelet is set with 5 navette-cut rubies (1.88 Ct), 4 navette-cut sapphires (1.38 Ct) and 5 navette-cut emeralds (1.34 Ct). Its dial is cobbled with the smallest facetted diamonds available and boasts sapphire and ruby markers. The underside of the bracelet displays openworked arabesques of 18K yellow gold enhanced by the fires of the gemstones on the front. The Rivière is set with no less than 96 brilliant-cut diamonds weighing 19.95 carats.
